At DBPL, we are committed to enhancing the well-being of communities surrounding our operations. As part of this commitment, the DBPL Aarogya Kendra was inaugurated on 15th February 2024 by Smt. Nupur Rashi Panna (Collector, Sakti), in the presence of key dignitaries including Ms. Divya Agarwal (Additional Collector, Dabhra), Dr. Suraj Singh Rathore (Chief Medical and Health Officer, Sakti), Smt. Tulshi Devi Sahu (MLA Representative, Chandarpur Assembly), local village representatives, and the DBPL management team. The Aarogya Kendra has been operational since 14th December 2023, delivering quality healthcare services to the local community.

Special Health Camps:

Organized for plant-affected and railway corridor villages to provide accessible healthcare.

Weekly Health Camps:

Regularly conducted across project-affected and nearby villages to promote preventive healthcare.

eferral Ambulance Service: Deployed to support emergency medical transportation for residents of nearby villages.

Support to Healthcare Infrastructure:

  • OFinancial assistance provided for the procurement of three ventilators for Janjgir District Hospital and one ventilator for Raigarh District Hospital.
  • Donated three oxygen concentrators (10-liter capacity each) to the COVID Health Center at Dabhra and one oxygen concentrator to CHC, Chaple.

COVID-19 Response:

  • Facilitated the production and distribution of face masks to the Administration Departments of Raigarh and Janjgir-Champa, the MLA of Chandarpur, and local communities around the plant, ensuring safety during the pandemic.

Marriage Support

On the occasion of marriages of girls from plant-affected villages, DBPL provides essential gifts such as refrigerators, almirahs, dinner sets, and gas stoves. Additionally, a financial assistance of ₹3,000 is given to mothers upon the birth of a girl child.

Spiritual Tour

A spiritual tour was organized for villagers to Puri and Bhubaneswar, benefiting a total of 463 villagers.

Religious and Cultural Activities

  • Organized Kanya Bhoj during Ram Navami celebrations at Kurrupath Temple, Tundri.
  • Supported and organized various sports tournaments.
  • Organized a Blood Donation Camp.

Infrastructure Support

  • Donated 15 chairs, 1 almirah, and 1 table to Yuva Vikas Samiti, Badadarha.
  • Provided 4 chairs, 1 almirah, and 1 table to the Anganwadi Center at Sahnipara, Badadarha.
  • Supplied 10 sets of desks and benches to the Primary School at Rampur.

Community Development Initiatives

  • Conducted a seminar on the utilization of cow dung among SHG members and villagers of Badadarha, Rampur, and Tundri at Urja Bhawan, DBPL.
  • Organized community meetings in Badadarha and Rampur, led by Ms. Namita Koyande (Corporate HR), to launch the "Subh Laxmi" and "Soubhagyawati" schemes for Project Affected Persons (PAPs).
  • Held meetings with villagers from Badadarha, Rampur, and Tundri, along with DBPL management, to discuss ongoing development work and address village-related issues.

Additional Contributions

  • Supported events organized on Mitanin Day.
  • Donated musical instruments to villagers in Badadarha and a sound system to Kurrupath Dev Samiti, Tundri.
  • Distributed sweets among students, teachers, and guests of 20 government schools and Anganwadi centers on national festivals such as Independence Day and Republic Day.
  • Organized cultural programs to celebrate national festivals.
