DB Power Limited embarked on its first milestone project with a 1200 MW (2x600 MW) coal-based super thermal power plant in Chhattisgarh.Unit 1 began operations in August 2015, followed by Unit 2 in March 2016. Recognized nationally, Unit 1 was awarded the Bronze Shield (2013–14) by the Ministry of Power, Government of India for early completion of thermal power projects.
The company supplies power under long-term agreements with TANGEDCO (Tamil Nadu), CSP TRADCO (Chhattisgarh), and RUVNL (Rajasthan), ensuring energy security for millions of people. Expanding its footprint, DB Power (Madhya Pradesh) Ltd is also setting up a 1320 MW (2x660 MW) project in Madhya Pradesh.

Contract signed and engineering discussions initiated.
Design changes made to include absorber top chimney to save space and time. Absorber Top Chimney Initially the design was with existing chimney with glass flake lining, which has amended to absorber top based on proposal from EPC vendor due to less space availability & also to ensure scheduled time saving, No Outage time for Unit which in turn saving generation cost(2 Months time for application) & No outlet duct from absorber to chimney
Construction of absorber, limestone slurry units, and booster fans began.
Absorber vessels, ducting systems, ID fans, booster fans installed.
Wet limestone scrubber commissioned with performance testing completed.
